Cost should not be the reason.
We help pastors and ministry families explore suitable funding options, counselling subsidies, and practical support — so care can begin with greater clarity.
Removing a barrier
Many pastors delay seeking care because of cost. Counselling can be an investment, and ministry salaries do not always leave room for it. We believe financial cost should not be the reason a pastor avoids the care they need.
Pastors, ministry workers, and their families
- • Pastors and senior pastors of local churches
- • Associate pastors, ministry workers, and church staff
- • Missionaries and cross-cultural workers based in Singapore
- • Spouses of pastors and ministry workers
- • Adult children or immediate family members carrying ministry impact
What may be supported
- • Individual counselling or psychotherapy
- • Marriage or family therapy
- • Christian or pastoral counselling
- • Clinical mental health support
- • Short-term crisis or stabilisation counselling
What is suitable depends on the situation. We will discuss options together without pressure.
Existing funding that may be available
A number of counsellors, therapy centres, and community organisations in Singapore offer subsidised rates or sliding-scale fees for pastors and ministry workers. Some denominations and church networks also have care funds. We help you understand what may be available in your situation.
Availability, eligibility, and the amount of support vary. Nothing on this page is a guarantee of funding.
Daniel & Joy Initiative gap support
Where existing pathways do not fully cover the cost of care, the Initiative may be able to offer limited gap support so that care can still begin. Gap support is considered case by case, subject to eligibility and available funds.
