Eligible fields may include psychology, counselling, social work, mental health nursing, family therapy, psychotherapy-related training, psychiatric rehabilitation, and other directly relevant pathways. Applicants from adjacent fields may apply if they can show a clear connection to mental health work.

How much is the scholarship?

Each scholar receives S$3,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, subject to renewal expectations.

Is the scholarship renewable?

Yes. The scholarship may be renewed for up to four years, subject to continued enrolment, satisfactory academic progress, responsible participation in mentoring, and continued financial need.

Do I need perfect grades to apply?

No. Academic commitment matters, but the Foundation also considers financial need, resilience, character, service, and commitment to the mental health field.

Applicants should prepare proof of citizenship or PR status, university admission or enrolment documentation, course information, academic records, financial need documentation, a personal essay, and any other supporting documents requested by the Foundation.

The scholarship is designed to support students, not to add unnecessary burden. Scholars are encouraged to carry a spirit of service into their studies and future work. Any formal service expectations, if applicable, will be stated clearly before a scholarship offer is accepted.
