The Initiative

About the Daniel & Joy Initiative

We help pastors, ministry workers, church staff, and their families flourish — through confidential counselling access, trusted referrals, and practical funding support.

Mission

Helping pastors flourish for the long journey of ministry

Pastors and ministry workers walk with people through grief, conflict, joy, and change. That calling is sustained best when the one carrying it is also being cared for.

The Daniel & Joy Initiative exists to be an open door into good care — helping pastors, ministry workers, church staff, and their families find confidential counselling, trusted referrals, and practical funding support.

Focus

Why pastoral wellbeing

A healthy church cares for its members and for the people who lead, teach, counsel, visit, pray, and carry responsibility behind the scenes.

We work to make good care easy to find, affordable, and safe to use — one honest conversation at a time.

Values

What we hold to

Confidentiality

Dignity

Asking for care is ordinary, faithful stewardship of a life given to service.

Good care, in good time

Support belongs in every season of ministry, steady ones as much as demanding ones.

Stewardship

Caring for the people who lead strengthens families, congregations, and the wider Church.
